Over the past year, my path has led me half-way across the world, diving head first into different cultures and new perspectives. On my soul-searching journey to fully be present in the now, I have discovered that I am a Grounded Free Spirit. It was actually a friend of mine who I met traveling who coined this term, and it simply resonated with me.
On this blog I will share the next adventures of my life as I travel to India in just a matter of days. I'm so excited for my upcoming travels that I can't help but smile every day!
As I embrace today and move toward tomorrow, I want to recognize the path that brought me here. I have traveled for over 15 months on a journey that I truly never even dreamed about with a work friend who has turned into my best friend and sister - Miss Amanda Bowman. The path we took around the world has been so natural and organic. We said, "As long as we're happy, lets keep going!" And here I am today awaiting another one-way ticket across the world without a return ticket in hand.

Everything we've done and plan to do feels right. And it feels like I'm continuing down this path of a Grounded Free Spirit. All the pictures in the header are from our travels. So amazing. So grateful.
Jumping off the 13-meter cliff at Nusa Cennigan Island in Bali, Indonesia. I had to sign a waiver to jump!...Twice!
Exploring the sacred temples of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Catching my first wave in Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia. Even better was befriending Gede - the super sweet owner of Bali Rocks where we stayed.
Hiking at Cape Range National Park in Exmouth, Western Australia.
We visited the Killing Fields in Phnom Phen, Cambodia. It was so unbelievable to walk through. These posts surround the grave where mothers and children were tossed to die after being beaten at the Killing Tree. We hung our friendship bracelets in their honor along with thousands of others.
Playing with fire poi for my first time in Perth, Western Australia! Such an amazing experience. So much happens with so little.
Our claim to fame - headstands. Our yoga move we practiced all around the world. Here we did them on White Haven Beach in Queensland, Australia, while were sailing the Great Barrier Reef for Amanda's birthday.
Our first couple days in Bangkok, Thailand, and of traveling! We explored the temples, prayed and meditated with the locals.
I can't wait to continue my journey of a Grounded Free Spirit! India, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Vietnam and who knows where else! :)
